Tempest in a Teacup
July 18, 2007
From DIS News:
A 52-year-old Alabama woman was arrested on suspicion she beat and choked a woman who was allowed ahead of her while waiting to board a tea cup ride at Walt Disney World, according to authorities.
Sounds like somebody needs to switch to decaf.

I once saw a man punch another guy in the face at the Disney-MGM Studios. Hard. I will never forget that sight, and sound, for the rest of my life. It upset my stomach to see it.
Perhaps psychological testing should be required before entering a park? Make them ride it’s a small world a few times in a row as a stress test?

Perhaps a few too many spins through IASW might have been the problem. All those tiny little children with joint disorders, singing that hypnotic song . . . scariest ride on property, hands down.

I can understand that heat and the stress might cause people to lose it sometimes.
I think the people that got into this scuffle were kind of trashy to begin with. I think we’d all have “words” with people we’re angry with, but to actually hit them…that’s just sad. She was old enough to know better too.
