Free Dining Rumor: April 10 Announcement

A little birdie (ding!) tells me that TouringPlans.com has the scoop on the return of the much-loved Free Dining promotion at Walt Disney World:
Don’t quote us on this, but we’ve heard from multiple sources inside and outside Disney that Disney’s “free dining” offer will return on April 10, 2008. We’re not sure which travel dates will be included, but we’ll post more information as soon as we hear it.
Now people, don’t go crazy here and forget to do the math. Generally speaking the “Free Dining” promotion has required you to give up any other discounts, so you’ve gotta pay rack rate for that room. If you’re planning a solo trip to stay at the Grand Floridian during peak season, in most cases the math will say that “Free Dining” will cost you more overall than getting a discount on that fancy deluxe room. On the other hand, if you’re a family of four staying at Pop Century, the math might be in your favor.
