Stitch’s Supersonic Stinkfest?

6 May

Touringplans.com isn’t pulling any punches in its review of Stitch’s Supersonic Celebration, officially opening today but having been in soft opening for a bit.

If this was Disney’s attack plan to keep crowds of people away from Space Mountain while it is undergoing refurbishment – it’ll work.

The show is scheduled to run 6 times a day so check park’s Times Guide to avoid direct exposure and be prepared to flee the area should a show begin unexpectedly.

I still wish I’d seen Carrie: The Musical or even Starlight Express (sorry, Germany!), so I tried to watch the YouTube. But despite my fondness for Stitch (or perhaps because of it?) I just couldn’t get all the way through it, and had to give up when Stitch accidentally deleted Christina’s planet.. Perhaps your endurance will be better.

Yeah, this is bad. I wonder why they decided to have a show exclusively for kids. Shows like Cinderellbration were kid-oriented, but not half as annoying as this.

ok, so it’s dumb and i really don’t go for any show involving costumes and breakdancing, but i don’t think it is the heinous tragedy it is so far made out to be. i mean, it’s just dull. it seems to have potential, so i expect as well that it will improve. interestingly, i think we saw the drawings for those breakdancing dudes on the backstage magic tour in the costume area – is that what the breakdancing space pirates looked like? also, i am for anything that has elvis stitch in it. i see 2 blonde headed pals rushing the stage and screaming “elvissss” then fainting in the near future.

The breakdancing space pirates were, sadly essentially in street clothes.

But it’s still fun to say.

    Breakdancing space pirates!
    Breakdancing space pirates!
    Breakdancing space pirates!
